Over a period of several years, I had lost nearly all use of my right arm due to the pain in my shoulder. After finding a tear in my rotator cuff, as well as bone spurs in the joint, Dr. McDonald recommended arthroscopic surgery, followed by physical therapy.
Dr. McDonald performed the surgery a few days later and I was surprised at how quickly I began to recover. At age 74, I assumed the recovery would take me longer than a young person. As soon as possible, I began lifting weights and doing the recommended physical therapy. Within 3 months I was paddling my kayak again. Within 6 months I could load my spear guns. At 8 months I was doing 20 push ups and I have now made a full recovery.
Thanks to Dr. McDonald, I am once again pursuing my hobby of free diving spear fishing, and my shoulder is pain free.
